Gorsky Wednesday

Connect to your roots for 1 hour a week!
Gorksy Wednesday is the class it all started with. Every Wednesday we get together, have dinner, socialize, and participate in an engaging Torah class in Russian language by Rabbi Ephraim Ilyaguev. Followed by Juhuri language and culture class with outstanding instructor Dr. Simon - Yechiel Mardakhayev.

Every Wednesday - 8:00 p.m.

Ladies First

Our sages taught that Torah was first offered to the “house of Jacob”-Jewish women, and only then to the “sons of Israel”-Jewish men. Beit Juhuro recognizes the importance of women’s education and offers unique serious of lectures on many topics about "The power of a woman in Judaism". An inside look at the role of women in Judaism, how feminism exists in Judaism, the spiritual power a woman has, and how we can contribute these strengths to our spouse, our family, at work, and in our community. Refreshments are served.

Every Thursday - 8:00 p.m.

It’s a great opportunity to pray for whatever you need, make new friends and bring some delicious challa home. Join us in this ancient Jewish tradition as we knead, braid, and bake our way through the spiritual side of challah baking. Beit Juhuro has teamed up with Tovushi Center for this wonderful project. These events currently takes place in Tovushi Center at 2309 Avenue Z and sponsored by Viktor Abayev.
